TOMÀS BRULL 1901

There is very little evidence regarding documents of the operation of the mill.

However, we can say that in 1901 it was already being worked on, as there are documents that can prove it.

Tomàs Brull Callau was responsible for running the company during this time. In those days, the force to turn the wheels of the mill was done through the animals, specifically with donkeys and horses. And the pressure of the press was achieved by human force, called "blood force."

THE LEGACY OF THE SXX

In 1921, the entire installation of the mill was renovated and it already ran on electricity.

Precisely this house was the first in the village to have electricity.

Later, his son Vicent Brull Boyer, continued the business and implemented new modernisms. For example, in 1954 he raised the stones of the mill to work more agile. In 1981, and after his death at the age of 60, his son Vicent Brull Llaó ran the mill until 1999.

AND STILL TODAY

From the year 2000, Vicent Brull Llaó and his 2 brothers Tomàs Brull Llaó and Paco Brull Llaó joined forces to continue the business.

They increased production and this caused them to have to create new tanks to store oil, the creation of the store that exists today, the packaging machine, machinery, and so on.

The CAL VIUDO Oil Mill is currently run by the brothers Vicent Brull Llaó and Paco Brull Llaó. Tomàs Brull Llaó is now retired.

The traditional method of first cold pressing has been preserved over the years from generation to generation.
